Michelle began performing on stage as a child. She has performed in multiple choirs, fine arts festivals, theater productions, and worship bands. Michelle took voice lessons for six years prior to attending Dordt College on a vocal scholarship where she continued in choir and voice lessons. She is trained in multiple methodologies including Classical and Speech Level Singing and is also certified in the Kodaly Music Education method.

Today, Michelle spends most of her time singing in churches in the Denver area. She regularly attends Red Rocks Church and volunteers as a part of their worship team. She also sings and leads worship for churches in the Denver area including Cherry Hills Community Church, Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Aspen Ridge Church, Crossroads Community Church, Brave Church, Trace Church, Exalt Church, Mission Hills Community Church, Restoration Community Church, Mountainview Christian Church, Valley View Christian Church, Eastern Hills Community Church, and Denver Community Church. In addition to her involvement in the community, she also has sung at weddings, sporting events, youth camps, conferences, and other social and philanthropic events.

Michelle works as a Coach and Consultant for Pitch Perfect Communications. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends, skiing, hiking, traveling, singing (obviously!), reading, and cooking.
